Built to last is the theme of the new network’s first conference. Activate Conference is taking place from October 16th to 19th 2019 (Wednesday evening until noon Saturday) at St. Benno-Gymnasium Dresden.
We will find out how to shape our personal and church lives to last. We want to discover how to act upon God’s commission in Germany, in the nations and discover how each one of us can contribute.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to grow as a leader by attending a variety of interesting workshops. Your church needs leaders who are seeking God. That’s how you can actively strengthen your church and thus the body of Christ. We will welcome international guests who are collaborating with us within the Activate Network. Furthermore, Peter Rasmussen (Durban, South Africa) as well as Anthony and Helen Rist (St. Albans, Great Britain) will be our special guests.
There will be space made for time together in worship and in the presence of God. There will also be time for community and taking part in the work of others as we will listen to interesting reports from the nations: What God is doing, what we are doing and how we can pray.
It will be worthwhile for everyone to join the conference. You only need to take 2 days off of work to be there. Whether you already have a leading role in your church or want to develop your leadership skills: We will stand together as the body of Christ from different churches and nations and expect His mighty work. We are full of expectation as we look ahead to these four days in October, because we are convinced: Activate Conference will be a refreshing, encouraging time and an opportunity for you to see the big picture of what God is doing, to learn from other Christians, encourage others and learn, not only how to get things started, but also how to bring things to a good end!
